What’s the best way to learn arabic words for a beginner?

I can write words just fine but the trick is that you don’t write words that are English and transpose them to the Arabic calligraphy. Instead, I must use the arabic word (when it’s not a name) and write that. What’s the best way to learn these words. Would it be an Arabic-English dictionary?

The best way to learn Arabic is that somebody teach you face to face, or to take classes. No online.

What are several words all amalgamated into one called?

- Words like "waitaminute" that are really the running of three words together to perhaps convey speed of speech.

Is there a special term for this, for instance if it happens in poetry?

I appreciate any information on this matter, thanks.

Whodunit is a triple portmanteau word or just a portmanteau word.
Thingamajig or whatchamacallit are other examples of portmanteau words.

"Portmanteau word" is used to describe a linguistic blend, namely "a word formed by blending sounds from two or more distinct words and combining their meanings.

How can you make learning new words of a foreign language fun?

I am learning a foreign language. I want to make it fun. I find myself really forcing myself to learn new words. How can I possibly make it fun? One idea is maybe make new sentences with the words I learn. I knoew several hundred words and might be able to make the sentences, but not always. What ways would you recommend to make learning a new language fun?

you should go to the country of the language you are learning because you will pick it up more naturally and fluently

ps the people of any country usually love it when people learn THEIR language! lol

How do I make my microsoft words processor go back to underlining my misspelled words when I type?

I have already turned on the spell checker under tools. I don’t know what else to do. I don’t want an automatic replacement of words, I simply want a red line underneath the word that I misspelled. Please help me someone.

Have you also turned on "Check Spelling and Grammar as I type?" If not, try this:

1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
3. Make sure Check Spelling as you Type" is selected.
4. Make sure Hide Spelling Errors in this Document is NOT selected.
5. Click OK if you made any changes.

You can always start a spelling check by pressing the F7 key.

Hope that helps.
