Can you clear the dictonary off Black berry Pearl?

My ex husband, as a nice gesture, sent me his barely used Blackberry Pearl. While playing around with some of the settings and exploring the phone, I found the "custom"? dictionary. Needless to say, I now know some of the things he was texting while he was using this phone (ew), and I was wondering if anyone knows if you can clear the dictionary. I didn’t get the manual so I have no idea how this phone works beside trial and error. Thanks.

do you mean the autotexts? you don’t want to delete all of them as some are useful and came programmed with the blackberry. i would scroll and delete the ones your ex-husband customized. to do so:
- go to options
- select autotext
- scroll through and when you see ones you want to delete:
:: click the blackberry button
:: select delete

^ you can also add and edit the different ones

hope that helps!

picking on me for pronunciation and reading the merriam-webster dictonary?

what is so wrong with reading the dictionary? i like to. tell me why it its so weird. and i am not from england, but i pronounce zebra zeh-bra. what’s wrong with that?
thankies, i’m still, 10 points for u next time i get on!

It’s not weird. You’re educating yourself…something a lot of people in this country take for granted. Kudos for you!
If it’s in the dictionary as optional to say zebra that way, then that’s fine. Potato, Potahto.
